The Telenco Group, backed by Ergon Capital, continues its international growth strategy as a leader in the supply of passive equipment for fibre optic telecommunications networks, and announced today the acquisition of Rainford
Solutions, a leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor enclosure solutions in the UK.
Founded in 1999 and located near Grenoble (France), Telenco is a key player in the production and distribution of passive telecommunications and technician equipment, used mainly in the deployment of fibre optic and copper networks. The Group has a global presence and achieves sales of over €175 million in around 50 countries. The UK market will provide significant growth opportunities for Telenco for the coming years
Founded in 1999 and based in Rainford (UK), Rainford Solutions is a leading designer and manufacturer of indoor and outdoor racks, cabinets and enclosures for
the telecommunications, datacentre, transport and energy markets. The Company provides customised high‐
quality solutions to its customers, with which it has enjoyed long‐term relationships.
The combination of Rainford Solutions, an independent business which has shown significant growth in recent years, and Telenco will enable the Group to even better meet its customers’ demand in the UK for the construction of the FTTH and FTTA networks of the future. Datacenters will also be a focus of the Group.
