Centrifugation is an advanced manufacturing technology that ensures a high degree of repeatability in both the dimensions and properties of finished products. It offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional materials such as aluminium, wood, or concrete. Thanks to this technique, Telenco can provide high-performance, durable composite poles tailored to the demands of modern infrastructure.
Telenco uses centrifuge technology to produce high-quality composite poles. This process involves a rotating mould, where resin is polymerised through the application of heat and distributed evenly via centrifugation. The result is consistent material dispersion and optimal structural strength.
Control of this process is ensured through a strategic partnership with TopGlass, a renowned European expert with decades of innovation in composite materials.
To guarantee optimal performance, 100% of Telenco poles undergo rigorous testing. Each resin delivery is analysed in a dedicated laboratory, and every component is subject to strict quality control procedures. Visual inspection and weighing ensure product conformity, while full traceability is maintained through a unique serial number assigned to each pole—linking back to material origin, production conditions, and testing data.
Following French telecom infrastructure standards, random pull and destruction tests are carried out to identify defects and ensure consistent quality.
An advanced off-gas filtration system has been implemented to improve air quality and reduce environmental impact. This system includes a carbon filter during the prototyping phase and a thermal oxidiser for full-scale production.
