Telenco's Portuguese subsidiary designs, develops, and manufactures its range of optical connection cables. The design office's experience and expertise in telecoms networks means they can offer designs tailored to a variety of applications and meeting the technical specifications of major operators. Telenco selects high-performance materials from major players in the sector, and mass-produces its own optical cables in its factory, which is designed to be flexible, responsive, and competitive.
Telenco masters the terminations of optical fibre cables using standard or complex connectors. The workshop, based in France, is an innovation centre for the manufacture of prototypes and the fine-tuning of products. The Portuguese factory, with its responsiveness and strong technical know-how, is called on for medium-sized production runs of all types of connectors. The Tunisian subsidiary specialises in mass production.
Telenco has 6 assembly sites for mechanical, optical, and metal products, located in France, Portugal, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. With over 25 years' experience, Telenco is able to assemble all types of network equipment (anchoring clamps, optical boxes, fibre optic patch panels, etc.), technician equipment (Continuous duct rods, plate hammers, etc.) and indoor or outdoor cabinets. Each product is customised to the needs of our customers, in its configuration or packaging. The variety of workshops means that we can respond to the smallest as well as the largest production runs, with the same high standards of quality and the shortest lead times.
Telenco designs and manufactures technical enclosures, cabinets, and racks for critical infrastructure operators, systems integrators and global equipment manufacturers at its UK-based subsidiary. These products, designed and manufactured to customers' specific requirements, cover a wide range of markets including rail networks, fixed and mobile telecommunications networks, roads, data centres, defence, water and energy utilities.
